SUMMARY:Raus aus dem Ego-Kapitalismus - Für eine Wirtschaft im Dienst des Menschen mit Patrick Kaczmarczyk
DESCRIPTION:In der Welt der Gegenwart ist beinnahe jeder Mensch vom internationalem Welthandel abhängig. Doch beruht die Wirtschaftspolitik der meisten Länder auf der Idee von Eigenverantwortung von jedem Individuum. Der promovierte Politikökonom Patrick Kaczmarczyk kritisiert in seinem Buch „Raus aus dem Ego-Kapitalismus – Für eine Wirtschaft im Dienst des Menschen“ dieses Vorgehen. Wie ein Umdenken zu einer nachhaltigen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung in der Zukunft sowohl in Industriestaaten als auch in Ländern des Globalen Südens aussehen könnte wird Teil des Vortrags sein. However\, the economic policy of most countries is based on the idea of individual responsibility. In his book “Out of Ego-Capitalism – For an Economy that Serves People” Patrick Kaczmarczyk\, who holds a doctorate in political economy\, criticizes this approach. Part of the lecture will focus on what a shift toward sustainable economic development in the future could look like\, both in industrialized countries and in countries of the Global South. SUMMARY:Podiumsdiskussion: Was darf der Staat? Krimineller oder kriminalisierter Protest?
DESCRIPTION:Warum protestieren Menschen für das Klima\, wie sieht ziviler Ungehorsam aus und was darf der Staat als Reaktion auf diese Protestform? Zu diesen Fragen werden zwei Klimaaktivist*innen sowie Jan-Ulrich Dittmer (forscht an der Humboldt Uni Berlin zu zivilem Ungehorsam in der Klimakrise) ihre Perspektiven schildern. Moderiert wird die Veranstaltung von Kai Ambos (Lehrstuhl für Strafrecht und Strafprozessrecht\, Rechtsvergleichung\, internationales Strafrecht und Völkerrecht in Göttingen). Dabei steht der Austausch zwischen Aktivismus und Wissenschaft im Vordergrund. Außerdem soll es viel Raum für Fragen aus dem Publikum geben. \nDie Veranstaltung findet in Kooperation mit der Jura-Fachschaft der Uni Göttingen statt und ist Teil unserer Veranstaltungsreihe zu Klima\, Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit. Die Veranstaltung findet am 14.01 ab 18:00 in ZHG 105 statt. \n  \nEnglish version \n14.01 Panel Discussion about climate activism and protest in a constitutional state \nWhy do people protest for climate justice\, what is civil disobedience and how can the government react to this form of protest? This will be discussed by two climate activists and Jan-Ulrich Dittmer (researcher at the Humboldt Uni Berlin\, civil disobedience during climate crisis). The moderator\, Kai Ambos\, holds the chair in criminal law\, criminal procedure\, comparative law and international criminal law. The podiums focuses on the exchange of acivistic and scientific perspectives\, there will also be time for questions from the audience. The podium will be held in German. SUMMARY:Vortrag: Biodiversität und Klimakrise- wie funktioniert Vogelzugforschung und welche Auswirkungen haben Klimaveränderungen auf Zugvögel
DESCRIPTION:Verändert sich das Klima\, so hat dies Auswirkungen auf die Artenvielfalt. Um diese Veränderungen festzustellen und zu beziffern\, werden häufig Bestandsdaten von Vögeln genutzt. Vögel eignen sich als Indikatoren\, da sie verhältnismäßig gut erfasst werden können- sie kommen in vielen Gebieten vor\, sind auffällig und vergleichsweise leicht zu bestimmen. In diesem Vortrag soll es zunächst um generelle Methoden der Vogelzugforschung gehen. Ausgehend davon steht die Frage\, wie sich der Klimawandel auf den Vogelzug auswirkt im Mittelpunkt. Dieser Vortrag ist Teil der Vortragsreihe des AStA Klimareferates. Data\, that is often used to ascertain and quantify these changes are bird population numbers. Birds are often used as indicators because they are relatively easy to monitor\, are widespread in different areas and comparatively easy to identify. This lecture introduces scientific methods to do research on bird migration. Based on this the effect of climate change on bird migration will be discussed. Afterwards there is time for questions. DESCRIPTION:Der promovierte Ökonom Steffen Lange befasst sich in seiner Forschung mit der sozial-ökonomischen Transformation. Wie ein Wirtschaftssystem in einer klimaneutralen Zukunft umstrukturiert werden kann und warum dieser Vorgang gekoppelt mit dem Ende des wirtschaftlichen Wachstums ist\, ist ebenso Teil des seiner Forschung wie der Anstieg der politischen Gegenreaktionen im rechtsautoritären Parteienspektrum und der Einfluss von Digitalisierung und Künstlicher Intelligenz auf die Wirtschaft der Zukunft. Der Vortag wird im ZHG 105 um 17 Uhr beginnen. Dieser Vortrag ist Teil der Vortragsreihe des AStA Klimareferates. His lecture will cover how an economic system can be restructured in a climate-neutral future and why this process is linked to the end of economic growth\, as well as the rise of political backlash from right-wing authoritarian parties and the influence of digitalization and artificial intelligence on the economy of the future.
