The Antifa department is led by Pelle Lorenz and has been established in response to current political developments both nationally and locally in Göttingen and the surrounding area.
The Antifa department aims to raise awareness through specific educational work on the far right and to prepare for an increased presence of the far right on campus. In light of rising right-wing violence, a support service for those affected is to be established, working in collaboration with qualified organisations. Furthermore, a forward-looking collaboration with other political actors in the city is to be established.
